Shift Rota
Your rota, holidays and pay, saved to your account — open it from any device.
My Calendar
Your original rota with any holidays and swaps already applied.
Pick a date, then what it should become — a different shift, or a rest day.
Rota
This is your rota exactly as set up in Setup — no holidays or swaps applied.
Pattern
One link, always up to date — give it to anyone, or subscribe to it yourself in any external calendar.
One link — shows whoever has it roughly where you are on today's shift, live, while you're on duty. No account needed to view it. Experimental: depends on live bus-tracking data being available for your route.
Holidays
Book time off — it's applied to My Calendar automatically and always kept correct, even across rota changes.

Ratings
Rate a day's shift, and separately rate any bus you've driven — just for you. Do either one on its own. See your favourites below.
Rate a shift
Pick a date to rate its shift.
Rate a bus
Independent of the shift rating above — log any bus you've driven, any day. You can rate more than one bus on the same day.
Best shift by day of the week
Your highest-rated shift for each weekday, from every shift rating you've made.

Templates
Add any of these straight into your own rota — no retyping times or rates.
Available shift templates
Rota templates
Apply a full pre-built rota to your account — adds any required shifts to your collection and loads the complete pattern.
Admin Templates
Build shift and rota templates, or import them from a PDF/text — everyone browses and adds from the Templates tab.
Blocks — which companies can see which templates
A shift template's Category doubles as its "block" (e.g. "Matlock Sixes", "Red Arrow"). A block with no company ticked is hidden from everyone except admins — tick a company to let its drivers see and add it.
Rota templates — which companies can see each one
Requests to know an extra block
Drivers can flag an extra block they know (e.g. overtime cover) in their Account tab — approve it here to give them access.
Live tracker — bustimes.org route mapping
The live tracker looks up real buses on bustimes.org, matched to each route text used in duty boards (e.g. "6.1") by bustimes.org's own numeric service ID — not the same as the route number. Find it by opening https://bustimes.org/api/services/?operator=<OPERATOR CODE> (e.g. TBTN for trentbarton) in a browser and finding the route by its "line_name", then copying its "id".
Import duty sheets from PDF
Upload one or more duty PDFs (like a trentbarton-style DYxx sheet). Each one is parsed into a duty board automatically and added as a shared template — review and edit before importing. Once created, any user can add it to their own rota as normal.
Import a full rota
Load a rota PDF (or paste it as text) to fill the rota template builder below automatically. Format: one line per week, seven days Sun → Sat separated by commas or tabs, each day a shift code with optional times like IB43 0737-1744 — REST or a gap for a day off.
Create a new template
Everyone else just browses and adds.
Untick any day this shift should never be assigned to.
Create a rota template
Build a full rota pattern from shared shift templates — anyone can apply it to their account instantly.
Account
Your username, navigation, and login details. For your rota, shifts and pay, see the Setup tab.
Your username
This is how you appear to everyone else in the People list.
Account type
Changes some terminology and hides fields that don't apply — pick whichever fits what you actually do.
Blocks you know
Your company already gives you its own blocks. If you also know another block — e.g. cover or overtime on a different route — tick it here. An admin has to approve it before it shows up when swapping.
Navigation
Pick the 3 tabs shown along the top — everything else moves into the ☰ menu.
Change password
Set a new password for logging in.
Setup
Set this up once — it's the contracted pattern your workplace gave you, before any holidays or swaps. Only come back here if your whole contract changes.
1 · Your shift types
Untick any day this shift should never be assigned to.
Scheduled rota changes
Set up a new rota that starts on a future date. Days before it keep your current rota (and any swaps); your booked holidays stay correct throughout. Steps 2–4 below edit whichever rota you pick here.
2 · Your rota pattern
Pick a shift for each day — leave as "—" for a rest day. You'll line this pattern up with a real date in step 3.
Create a shift on the fly with a custom name and times — it appears straight away in the grid above.
3 · Anchor your rota to the calendar
Pick any date you already know a shift for, then say which week of the pattern above that date falls in. Everything else is worked out from there — you don't have to start from Week 1, Day 1.
Applies everywhere a weekly grid is shown — here, Rota, and My Calendar.
