1 · Your shift types
Scheduled rota changes
Set up a new rota that starts on a future date. Days before it keep your current rota (and any swaps); your booked holidays stay correct throughout. Steps 2–4 below edit whichever rota you pick here.
2 · Your rota pattern
Pick a shift for each day — leave as "—" for a rest day. You'll line this pattern up with a real date in step 3.
Create a shift on the fly with a custom name and times — it appears straight away in the grid above.
3 · Anchor your rota to the calendar
Pick any date you already know a shift for, then say which week of the pattern above that date falls in. Everything else is worked out from there — you don't have to start from Week 1, Day 1.
Applies everywhere a weekly grid is shown — here, Rota, and My Calendar.
